Brunch. What can I say, it’s probably my favourite meal ever. Throw in some avo, and I’m done.
I’m just going to apologise in advance, my food photo skills aren’t there yet, but hopefully you get the drift.
AKA. Watch my evolution.
So like I said, I’m a sucker for avo. Am I boring because I always order it? Possibly? Am I stupid because I pay like $8 extra for things that I could just make at home? Quite so. However, nothing beats just sitting down and waiting to have a delicious breakfast cooked for you, and brought to right under your nose.
That’s what happened at Canberra’s Maple + Clove. Recommended as one of Canberra’s best brunch spots, I was very excited to see what they had to offer.
Tucked away in-between two hotels in Canberra’s Realm Precinct, the cafe’s menu boasts a selection of locally sourced wholefood products, to power the ‘mind, body, and spirit’
I tried the Savoury Spelt Waffle; wholegrain spelt, zucchini and sweet corn waffles served with smoked smoked salmon, smashed avocado, and slow cooked eggs.
We had to wait 45 mins for our food, which we were pre-warned about. But when you’re pumping out food this delicious, the wait is well worth your time!
